My name is Mark Hassell and during my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a number of different fields and environments. Throughout this time, I have witnessed various forms of workplace violence as well as witnessed the impact it can have on people as well as organizations. Over the last 24 years, I have worked in the law enforcement and healthcare fields and had the opportunity to make direct impacts on reducing the occurrences, mitigating impacts and responding to workplace violence incidents. To date I have trained thousands of employees in ways to de-escalate volatile situations, safely intervene during crisis situations, prevention and response methods for active assailant incidents, crime prevention techniques as well as personal defense techniques. I have a passion for helping people to make their living and working environments safer from violence and I look forward to helping you have a safer environment as well!
